Objectives

Institute for Governance Research and Certification International (IGRCI) is engaged in research on governance related areas advising organisations on how to define and implement governance.
Every organisation is in need of ensuring governance to justify their existence and to meet the expectations of their stakeholders.
IGRCI develops standards for different governance domains for organisations to use. This includes an assessment framework that may be used to assess the governance activities in the organisation for their capabilities.
IGRCI helps organisations get their governance activities endorsed by accredited assessors.

 

IGRCI is chartered to -

    • Best practice recommendations​

  • Education, Assessment and Accreditation

    • Define assessment framework

    • Accredit organisations to deliver trainings and offer certification examinations

    • Accredit trainers and Assessors


The accreditation and certification operations are governed by a body named, CAAB - Certification And Accreditation Board - which provides with directions on the activities.

IGRCI is a not-for-profit organisation.

IGRCI is involved in developing good practice, light weight, frameworks and standards for varied sets of activities in an organisation, certify organisations through accredited assessors for the process capabilities and certify individuals on different process standards, methodologies and frameworks through accredited training organisations.

 

IGRCI directly does not deliver trainings or certifications.

 

IGRCI is an accreditation body. ATOs (Accredited Training Organisations) deliver trainings and authorised to conduct exams on behalf of IGRCI.

 

IGRCI prescribes syllabus and certification norms.

 

IGRCI ensures high quality standards for the certifications and qualifications.
